You Become What you Think About All the Time…

That is a famous quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson and it reflects the power of your magnificent mind.

When you were born, you had no preconception about life. Your focus was on you and getting your needs met.  You were a clean slate and you were ready to learn and absorb as much as you could.  You experienced life fully through your senses and did not have any way to filter information.   Everything became imprinted on your subconscious mind through repetition.  You became what you thought about all the time…

As you grew up, you began to believe what you heard from your family and friends about who they wanted you to be and you stopped listening to the little voice in your head that was calling out to you to be your magnificent, authentic self.  You became what you thought about all the time…

You see, at the core of everyone’s being is their magnificent, authentic self.  People experience depression and anxiety when they suppress their magnificent self to try and be what everyone else wants them to be.  Your subconscious mind is at war with your conscious mind and the result is emotional discord and sickness.  The more a person focuses on what they don’t want and how unhappy they are, the worse they will feel.  You become what you think about all the time…

I went through the early years of my life trying to be what everyone wanted me to be.  I went to University because it was expected even though I had no idea what I wanted to study.  I took a lot of different courses to find the program that resonated with me.  I ended up with a major in psychology and a minor in ancient history. I left University with no clearer picture of who I was or what I was supposed to do with my life. I became a perpetual student with a thirst for learning and that has continued today.  Through all this I knew that something was missing but I didn’t know what it was until recently when I learned that I became what I thought about all the time…

When I broke with tradition and bought my first home on my own as a single woman, I had to push through the fear that I was making a mistake because I wasn’t following the normal pattern of behaviour.  I was lead to believe that single women do not buy homes on their own, they live with their parents until their knight in shining armor comes to sweep them off their feet.  It was ingrained in my mind through fairy tales and listening to family members and parents of friends who come from a traditional Italian background.  I chose to change my thinking and focus on what I wanted and who I was going to become.  This more than anything else, kept me focused on the end result.  Through this experience, I learned how strong I am and the power of the mind to provide the will to accomplish anything that you set your mind to accomplish.  I became what I thought about all the time…

My thoughts are positive and focused on creating abundance in my life.  As a result, I have noticed a shift in my relationships with others and especially with myself.  I have connected with my core magnificence and found my purpose in life.  It is the most amazing feeling in the world to live authentically and not be influenced by others expectations.  My purpose is to help others find their core magnificence through integration of the mind, body and spirit.  When all are in harmony, you will find that everything comes easily.  You will become what you think about all the time…

You can change your life right this very moment…go to the mirror and look at yourself.   Repeat this affirmation over and over;”I am the magnificent creator of positive abundance in my life.”  Say it with confidence throughout the day whenever you start to feel doubt or worry.  As you continue to repeat it, you will find that you start to believe it and abundance will come to you.  You will become what you think about all the time….

Trust the process.
